WORMPHLEGM is a duo from Finland with members from HAIL and TYRANNY and this is their killer 2001 demo re-released on noble LP by Rusty Crowbar Records in 2010!

Imagine the darkest catacombs, deep underground. The walls are filthy and crumbling. The constant dripping of rain water has caused small puddles to form everywhere. The air is putrid. Rats, bugs, and other vermin infest the area. Skulls and bones line the ground. This IS Hell!

WORMPHLEGM is Torture Doom Metal at its best. The vocals these 2 men conjure up have got to be the sickest, most tortured sounds I have ever heard. The slow guitar riffs are extremely slow and depressing. Followed by the guitar riffs are the Bass and Drum beats, which are crushing and adds to the depression and torture. The lyrics are as sick and tortured as the vocals and sounds.
